Alumni Auditing Application and Policy

Course auditing at the Rady School of Management is available only to Rady School alumni.












Please read and acknowledge the alumni auditing policy below prior to submitting your application.



  • Rady School alumni will be approved to audit courses contingent on space, availability, and a completed application.
  • Classes can be audited either remotely via recordings (core and elective) or in-person (elective only).
  • Auditing is limited to two courses per quarter per alum with the choice of:
    • Two courses via recordings.
    • One course via recordings and one course in person.
  • Class participation is expected for both in-person and remote auditors and is specific to each professor.
    • In-person auditors must introduce themselves to the professor at the beginning of the first course session to determine the professor's expectations.
    • Remote auditors must introduce themselves to the professor via email prior to the start of each quarter to determine the professor's expectations.
  • Course auditing is available at no cost to Rady School alumni.
  • Auditors are responsible for the cost of course materials.
  • Canvas access is provided for both remote and in-person auditors.
  • In-person auditors will be provided with a Prox Card.
  • In-person auditors are responsible for their own parking arrangements (information will be provided).
  • If there are more applicants than allotted slots, slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
