Alumni Auditing Application and Policy

Course auditing at the Rady School of Management is available only to Rady School alumni.

Please read and acknowledge the alumni auditing policy below prior to submitting your application.

  • Rady School alumni will be approved to audit courses contingent on space, availability, and a completed application.
  • Classes can be audited either remotely (core and elective) or in-person (elective only).
  • At this time, remote auditors are not able to participate in class sessions and will have access to class recordings and materials through Canvas.
  • Course auditing is available at no cost to Rady School alumni.
  • Auditors are responsible for the cost of course materials.
  • Canvas access is provided for both remote and in-person auditors.
  • In-person auditors will be provided with a Prox Card.
  • In-person auditors are responsible for their own parking arrangements (information will be provided).
  • In-person auditors must introduce themselves to the instructor at the beginning of the first class session.
  • If there are more applicants than allotted slots, priority will be given to alumni that have not previously audited courses. Remaining slots will be filled via random lottery.
